I am a Platte County native, born and raised in Wheatland, and a resident of Guernsey for the past 23 years. My husband, Bruce is an employee of BNSF Railroad for the last 33 years.  I have 3 sons that have or are attending Guernsey-Sunrise schools.  I am proud to serve the businesses and people of Platte County with my work at the Chamber.  What a great job to tell others what a wonderful place Platte County is.  I look forward to meeting you on your next visit to Wheatland and Platte County.

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and after I retired we relocated to Platte County.  I graduated from The University of Alabama and worked for the Jefferson County School District as a teacher/school bus driver for 33 years. My husband I lived in a small town just northeast of Birmingham called Trussville for 28 years and now we have a home just south of Glendo.  My dad, daughter, and son-in-law came for a visit…loved the area…and relocated here, too. We all enjoy living in and experiencing Wyoming.  I look forward to working with our members and the county as a whole. 

I was born and raised in Wheatland and graduated from WHS.  I attended Business College in Denver, where I received a Jr. Accounting Degree.  Married to wife, Kay and have 1 son, Kendall. I was a member of the Wyoming National Guard for 6 years, employed for 23 years in the local banking industry, owned a hardware store for several years and was the County Assessor for 16 years.  I have been employed as associate director of the Chamber for the last 3 years and have driven a school bus for PCSD #1 for the last 10 years.
